MODEX 2018 receptionMHI hit another home run with the annual MODEX in Atlanta April 9-12. According to MHI, MODEX 2018, the 4th edition of the expo, saw a 25% jump in the number of registrations for a total of 30,944.

“MODEX has grown not only in size, but also in overall scope. Attendees experienced a wide range of manufacturing, supply chain and transportation equipment and systems solutions and education,” said George W. Prest, Chief Executive Officer of MHI.

The Steele Solutions team was happy to see many of you at MODEX. Special thanks to those who were able to visit at our reception.

Modex 2018 reception - 2According to MHI, dominant trends revealed by MODEX 2018 were digital supply chain solutions including automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, augmented reality, the Internet of Things and data analytics.

“We’re seeing an acceleration and acceptance of these technologies in manufacturing and supply chain operations,” said Prest. “There was a substantial number of these solutions on display this year.”

MODEX was a phenomenal event that once again highlights the importance of the supply chain industry, and the changing dynamics of the industry.
