Steele Solutions Named Among the ‘Best Places to Work’
Steele Solutions has been named one of the Milwaukee area’s “Best Places to Work” for a third straight year. The award recognizes companies where employees praise the culture and working conditions of their workplaces. It is presented by the Milwaukee Business Journal.
“We work hard to create a work environment that is rewarding and challenging, and where we regularly recognize the achievements and value of our employees,” said Lisa Rosewitz, human resources manager at Steele Solutions.
Steele Solutions continues to grow rapidly, and now employs more than 200 people. It won this year’s Best Places to Work recognition in the contest’s Extra-Large Category for business with 200 or more employees. Other winners in that group include the Milwaukee Bucks, Delta Defense, CG Schmidt, Manitou Group and von Briesen & Roper.
According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, more than 150 businesses were nominated for the award. All nominees had to have a large percentage of employees complete an online survey about employment conditions, covering areas such as personal engagement, communication and resources, teamwork, retention, alignment with goals, trust with co-workers and senior leaders, manager effectiveness, and job satisfaction.
“In this tight labor market, it’s gratifying to know that we can attract and retain great employees,” Rosewitz said. “We’re honored that they took the time and effort to fill out the survey to promote our work environment.”
The awards will be presented at an October 30 event in downtown Milwaukee.

Steele Solutions also was named among the area Best Places to Work in 2018 and 2017. The company employs people in a wide range of roles, including engineering related positions, administration, management and support, and production floor positions for the design and manufacturing of steel structures used for equipment support and storage. The company maintains facilities in Milwaukee and in its southern suburb of Franklin.
